Express yourself with canva

If you’ve created your own artwork online and are now ready to see your design come to life, please remember that we require a print-ready file to ensure the best quality product for you.

Please provide us with a PDF file including 3mm bleed and crop marks.

Need to know how to add these in Canva?
Just follow the steps below!

Add Bleed

If your design touches the edge of the page,  add 3mm of bleed to your artwork for a perfect finish.

•    Create or open an existing design

•    From the menu bar, select File then View Settings

•    Select Show Print Bleed. A border of dashed lines will appear close to the edges of your design. This bleed margin is fixed based on print production standards and cannot be adjusted

•    If you see white gaps around the design edges, resize or stretch your background to cover them. Stretch elements, that you don’t mind being cut, around the edges as well

Add Crop marks

Make sure we know where to trim your design by adding crop marks to your final file.

•   Add bleed to your design

•   On the menu bar, select Share

•   Select Download

•   On the File Type dropdown, select  PDF Print

•   Tick the Crop Marks and Bleed checkbox

•   Select Download
